Employment
I spent half of my 40-year career as an employment law attorney representing employees and employers in federal and state courts, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and appeals. My experience as in-house employment counsel, an adjunct professor teaching employment law, and chair of the Colorado State Personnel Board cements a deep and practical understanding of both the legal and business dimensions of workplace disputes.
My practice includes mediating and arbitrating all forms of federal and state discrimination claims, harassment claims, retaliation claims, wrongful discharge-related tort, and contract claims under state law, federal and state disability and leave accommodation laws, traditional labor law, and federal and state wage-and- hour disputes.
